Collective Excellence
About Chris Sotire, NCARB, AIA
Great architecture begins with a personal connection.
Born in Connecticut, Chris Sotire grew up in New Canaan as a neighbor to Philip Johnson’s iconic Glass House. That proximity helped shape his appreciation for architecture from an early age, inspiring a lasting interest in the modern movement and the Harvard Five architects whose work helped define New Canaan’s architectural identity in the 1940s and 1950s.
Chris earned his Master of Architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, Massachusetts, in 2010. His experience includes work with select high-end residential architecture firms in Fairfield County, where he developed an appreciation for thoughtful design, craftsmanship, and close collaboration with clients.
In 2022, Chris founded his own architectural practice with a clear intention: to keep the relationship between architect and client at the heart of every project. As a small, specialized firm, we take on projects selectively, giving each one the attention and creative focus it deserves.
Our approach is personal and collaborative. Clients work directly with Chris throughout the design process, shaping spaces that reflect their vision and way of life. Together, we pursue thoughtful details, lasting quality, and the opportunity to create something spectacular.
Chris is licensed in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, and Florida, and is a member of the American Institute of Architects.
